Cyber Security Centre was created by National Defence University of Malaysia (NDUM) in 1 January, 2014.

As a premiere university in defence and security, NDUM realise of the needs to be part of the national cyber security initiatives which strive to assist the security agencies to strengthen their cyber defences.

It is established to organise and manage its cyber security related programmes across the University.

Cyber Security Centre has implemented a central field expansion based on the main thrust of Industrial Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0) and rebranding to the Cyber Security and Digital Industrial Revolution Centre effective on February 10, 2021.
